VISION
Life Groups are small groups of friends “DOING LIFE TOGETHER” and encouraging each other to grow in understanding and living out God’s Word.
GATHER
We make a priority of meeting together regularly.
PARTICIPATE
Each person is important to the group, and has something to contribute by taking part.
PRAY
A great privilege and opportunity as a group, a tangible way to include God in group experiences.
STUDY
Time in God’s Word, to discover His love and purposes.
SHARE
Listen to, and talk with each other about what God is doing in and through our lives.
CARE
As love and encouragement are expressed, the compassion of Christ is experienced.
SERVE
A great way to follow Jesus is to spend time serving as a group or individual.
Parkside Church
Parkside Church was founded in 1941 as the Auburn First Church of the Nazarene. When we relocated to our current facility across the street from Auburn Regional Park, we changed our name to Parkside Church of the Nazarene.

Parkside Church Pastor
Rev. Michele Dickerson
Lead Pastor
Pastor Michele joined the Parkside team in April of 2011 and became the lead pastor in August 2021. Pastor Michele has lived all over Southern California and Arizona but claims San Diego as her hometown. She is a 2004 graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University. Prior to serving at Parkside, Pastor Michele served as children’s pastor and youth pastor at churches on the Sacramento district and SoCal District.
Pastor Michele’s interests include Disney, more Disney, and some more Disney. She also enjoys spending time with her husband and children, cheering for the Seattle Seahawks, discipling young families, and journaling. Pastor Michele’s ultimate goal is that everyone would know that God sees and loves them and has created them for a purpose.
